This walk meanders along the foreshore of Lake Weyba, a large, shallow salt water lake, which is part of Noosa Biosphere Reserve. This is a great walk for warmer weather as it is under shade, and the  clear water is suitable for swimming.  The track is well defined and maintained, with bridges over the creeks.  There are newly constructed, raised sections which avoid any muddy sections after rain. The track is flat, and the return distance is about 7 km.

Birdwatchers may see herons, comorants, egrets and brahminy kites.

We will start from the park in Annie Drive, have morning tea at the turn around point at Charlotte Drive and return to the cars at Annie Drive. This walk, including morning tea will take approximately three and a half hours.
