This activity is a trip to Brisbane to enjoy the Brisbane River both on the water, along its shores and crossing 6 bridges.

Leaving on the 6.36am train from Landsborough. The station car park to use is on the Steve Irwin Way side – do not cross the railway line in Landsborough. The train leaves from the south side also. If catching the 6.08am train from Nambour (same train), please go to the very first carriage. Those at Landsborough will board in the same carriage.

Train will be 50 cents. Remember to click on with your Go Card or you can use your credit card now.

We begin with a train trip to direct to Brisbane onthe 6.36am train from Landsborough Station (or 6.08am at Nambour Station). We disembark at the Milton train station and will have a 15 minute walk down to the Milton Ferry terminal. A city cat ferry (8.46am from Milton) will take us to the start of our walk at Howard Street Wharfs.

The walk commences with Storey Bridge, then the new Kangaroo Point Bridge, around the Brisbane Botanical Gardens to the Goodwill Bridge. A walk along Southbank to the new Neville Bonner Bridge to take us into the new casino area and up to the viewing platform on level 23. Back down to earth we cross the Vistoria St Bridge walk in front of the gallery, library and GOMA to the Kureelpa Bridge which leads us to back into the city centre and Roma St Station to take our train back home.

Morning tea and lunch will be along the walk, to allow us to enjoy a cup of coffee. The total cost of the public transport for the day is $1.50 and you will need a Go Card or credit card.
