Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary Bli Bli

Starting at Muller Park and crossing the Bli Bli bridge we will follow the Maroochy River to the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary. After walking on a wide, flat concrete path, there is a short section beside the bitumen road. At the sanctuary, a 900 metre elevated walkway passes through a variety of wetland vegetation. At this cooler time of year, there are less mosquitos. The interactive audio trail describes lots of waterbirds, crabs and fish. There are toilets and seating areas.

Morning tea is available at the bakery back at the shops.

The total distance is 8km

Non-members: Remember $5 for insurance.
